I do not get it. The SAT Reasoning test does not. So why the ACT?

Well, science is the most important subject. Though the science section on the ACT doesn’t really test your knowledge of science…

Why does the SAT have ten sections, and the ACT only have 4?

Why does the SAT penalize you for wrong answers, while the ACT doesn’t?

They’re different tests.

And like the poster above said, it isn’t really a knowledge of “science”. It’s testing your ability to analyze charts/graphs. Therefore it’s like eanother reading comprehension section, just with a little different style.

the SAT also doesnt test “real math”…just puzzles and tricks and stuff. the science section ISNT SCARY. it just takes practice to get used to the time limit. you only have to have a really BASIC knowledge of science to succeed, since they provide you with all of the info you need to know for each passage. i once got a practice passage on astronomical physics, but i still managed to get all of the questions right
