I want to go to USC soooooooooooooooooo much next year.... I can hardly sleep just worrying about if I'll get in or not! Transfer applications were due Feb 1st (like a month - 2 months before other schools!) and yet they send out decisions really late (sometimes June!) Why do they do this to us? It is so long to have to wait... Plus, I have to notify my second choice school in 2 weeks if I'm going to go! I guess I can put a deposit down at the other school but I'd rather not... Has anyone ever had any success asking USC to review the application early because I have to let another school know? I was admitted last year as a freshman if that makes any difference at all... (cuz they already reviewed it last year so I just submitted an update form and my fall grades). Sorry for posting about this.... The wait is just soooooooo long! Why does it so long for them to review applications!!!! Ok... well, good luck to all you other transfer applicants! :-)

anyone?????

No, they won't review it early if you ask. They'll get to it when they can. If you think USC takes long (which in my opinion, they do not), you should see how long it takes the UC's. After a deadline of November 30th, a lot of students won't find out until mid-May.

Be patient, if you got in as a freshman and maintained a good GPA, you should be admitted. I would almost say it's not worth it to pay the deposit if you absolutely have decided to go to USC.

hey jw but how come you didnt go? i want to go to usc and planning to transfer in after one year. any tips?

I got in last year as a transfer and didn't get my letter until July! Sure, some transfers hear in May but I wouldn't expect to hear until June-July.

what are you guys's stats? i'm planning to transfer as well

I applied to USC and am getting really anxious. I put down a deposit at my second choice. Part of me hopes I'm not just wasting over $500, but a bigger part of me hopes I get into USC.

ooohnelle,
I didn't go because I got a full ride somewhere else and I decided that graduating debt free would be a better choice. However, I always wanted to go to USC and really regretted my decision not to go (and I don't think the school I'm at now is a good fit for me at all...) so I really really want to transfer to USC. Good luck to everyone else who applied to USC as a transfer. I really hope they decide soon.
