The title speaks for itself

Residential colleges are awesome.
Reasonably good social scene.
Soooooooooooo many course offerings.
Film Studies major.
Blue is a great color.
Good pizza.
Ridiculous professors.
Just an all around awesome school.
Plus bulldogs do it better.

Good pizza?!!!! Oh man, I should apply early there. I love pizza!!!

alsoo its just better!!!!!!!! an article resently it said yale's administration was realli nice and helpful while other schools were sink or swim (harvard and columbia--> go figure).

I second the bit about residential colleges - the colleges are awesome, both because of the community of students and the academic & other support provided by the deans and masters. DPort feels like my family away from home. Complete with a resident dog. :p

I love how Yale is incredibly academically competitive, but the students aren't so absorbed in their own work that they don't know how to play hard too. I spoke with the director of the glee club and a teacher at the music school (he was my choir director up at Interlochen), and he described Yale as "the friendly Ivy." Everyone seems really open-minded and accepting there.

Plus...who wouldn't want Handsome Dan on their campus?

I second the comment about the friendly ivy, plus I love the emphasis yale seems to place on the arts, especially music. And unlike other ivies, the mascot is a physical thing instead of a color...

Yeah even this place is a lot more friendly than the other ivy league boards...
