Just wondering.

the human biology health society major!

opportunities and the freedom of taking many classes in different areas

beautiful campus, rigorous, top academic program, great for english and creative writing, far from home, diversity, great student life...

personally.. I chose to apply to Cornell ED because there's no way I can get in Princton + Harvard CAS, no MIT EA for internationals.. and Cornell CAS is the next on the ranking. I know it's a horrible reason, and I truly regret it now that I hadn't looked into the Cornell website. So in my supplement I basically forgot to answer the question "why Cornell (but not some other college) can help you to develop your interest". So how fatal is this mistake to my application?

IDK Mak. As long as you provided specific reasons I'm sure it'll be fine.

haha, i like your honesty, mak. i think more of us are like that than would admit. those damn rankings! i'm so proud that reed doesn't sink to the level of rankings :P

It is the only ivy with a really good Chemical Engineering program.
Its on the East coast which makes it so much easier for us internationals.
Its food is ranked 2nd or 3rd on the "Best food on Campus" list.- a little lame I know!!!

reason? hmmm...

food

food

haha just kidding! top, rigorous program of course!

I went there for their Model UN, and fell in love with the campus environment. I like the alumni network and counseling service so that I will maximize my post-school opportunities. Also, it has its own particle accelerator and I want to do physics. I feel that the educational opportunity, coupled with the setting, and food (I also love to eat), makes Cornell perfect for me.

beautiful surroundings, interesting course choices, food, ILR I heard is borderline marxist (though, I'm majoring in psych), snow!, and good psychology program. Oh, and I love the Cornell T-shirts too.

legacy...ya..bad reason...but why not?

1) the PAM major
2) the campus
3) hockey... haha i love hockey...

the hotel school is amazinggggggggggggggggg and the best in the country

Chemical Engineering is an Engineering major.

And snappleyum tht's probably the reason that they have such good food on the campus.
