<p>hi so for almost every college they ask a question about why you want to go to this college, how you chose your major, and how you found out about this college and you only get about 150 words or so to do it. does anybody know what kind of things are best to say for these questions? thanks so much!</p>
<p>Ummmm… say why you want to go to that college. 
Seriously, what about /that/ college makes you want to be there? It should be specific enough that you couldn’t just swap names and submit the same answer to another school. Location, low cost, party atmosphere, and beauty of the campus are bad reasons. Good reasons might include specific majors, faculty research interests you’d like to work on, or an unusual combination of offerings that mesh with your academics/ECs and that you’re likely to find only at that college.</p>
