Why does CC care about AP discussion but not about SAT?

Both tests make it pretty clear that there is going to be no discussion of the questions.

CC enforces this for AP testing, but not for SAT. What gives?

(BTW, I am not against discussing. I think we should be able to discuss questions).

AP MC questions are repeated year after year to an extent and therefore divulging the questions gives the students taking the test the next year answers. SATs, on the other hand, aren't reused over and over again.

Actually, the warning not to discuss MC questions on the SAT only started appearing on the test in the last year or so, so it's a new idea for many.

well its weird because i know that entire sat 2's have been repeated...i took the same one twicce! and yet there is no enforcement on discussion of the questions...

it would be a hard thing to enforce.

Actually, about three years ago several posters on CC were busted by the College Board for discussing questions and had their scores revoked. To clarify, CC did not provide College Board with identifying information, but the CB spies were able to collect enough information from posts to deduce identities.

^ lies, lies, and more lies

lol at the CB spies.

Firefly what was the point of that?

yeah actually my uncle works for cb and they have a search team thats affiliated with the CIA so they can find out ur address, name, and social security number just by ur username on a forum....they're THAT good.

(sarcasm)
