nothing wrong with that at all :-)

you might want to read a little more into it. the profession is very repetitive and is plagued by common illnesses in each field of specialization. Even as an ER doctor much of what you’ll get are extremely minor injuries of ppl with bad or no health insurance.

Doctors don’d make that much money at all. They have a tremendous amount of debt and numerous expensive and simply do not make much money for how much they have to work. If you’re interested in looking smart then its for you!

Well, isn’t becoming successful in business, economics, banking, etc pretty dependent on luck or “who you know”? I mean, CEO or VP of a company isn’t exactly a major in college…

AHHHHH another 5 year dead thread revived. I didn’t see how old it was at first and was thoroughly confused when I read this:

Doctor=money

There’s a lot of kids at my school that want to get in the medical but when you really get down to it. How many will actually make it? Think back to elementary school when everyone wanted to be a president or astronaut. It’s not impossible but finishing medical school takes a lot of discipline and determination. Not to mention money which can cause quite a few problems with people. So go for it if you’re really determined. As one of my teachers once said,“Everyone has a certain spot. If you’re careless someone else will take your spot and you’ll go down. It’s your job to not let them and take the spot of the people above you. Show no mercy!”
