As far as I know, I sent in the SAT scores, I completed the common app, supplement and all. I clicked "other fee waiver" option in "payments", since they sent me an email telling me they'd waive my application fee if i did so.

Apply RD? Their computer program for mailing lists is apparently separate from the program which monitors applicants records. I think this happens a lot.

One very important thing to remember when applying to colleges, which is hard to do by anyone on a good day, is to separate the admissions offices from the university. The admissions offices have nothing whatever to do with the academic standing of a university, its programs, its distinguished faculty, its vibrant and diverse student body (well…admissions is the team which selects them but that is all…it ends there.)

The admissions process is quirky and often very unfair.

My daughters had this happen at Fordham and Stonehill (EA) and recently another, they just sent. One end doesn’t really know what the other is doing sometimes. It helps to have an email or postcard saying everything is in, then you can ignore it.

In the fine print at the bottom there is a link to remove yourself from that email server. I don’t THINK it will remove you from ALL Fordham emails…us it at your own risk!
