I've seen some people asking here whether the GPA you got in CCC will transfer along with the credits. Many people here answered "No" and told them to relax and have fun in the last term of CCC and not worry about the GPA as much.

Sorry if the tone of my question sounds too offensive, but why does it matter whether the GPA transfers or not? Whether you are applying for an Internship or Graduate school, won't they require transcripts from EACH school you attended (meaning transcript from CCC AND whatever college you transferred to) anyway? And if that's the case, shouldn't you try your best even during your very last semester/quarter at CCC since they are going to factor both GPA into consideration?

"Many people here answered "No" and told them to relax and have fun in the last term of CCC and not worry about the GPA as much."

Actually we just said that the gpa wouldn't transfer after you said it would. This is a completely seperate question from whether or not it is important to keep your gpa up. Nowhere did most of say to slack off.

Yes, you need to do well your last semester. Not only is there the fear of the college revoking your admission, but you run the risk of damaging your GPA that future employers WILL see.

Where did I say that? I think at most one or two people said that. The rest said that the gpa would not transfer over. That does not mean that the gpa does not matter.
