Why does UCI require you to finish your transferable math course by Summer?

@Hayward: Been studying for about 4 months now using the TestMasters book and the LSAC SuperPrep book. I’ll be doing this for the better part of a year to hammer everything down perfectly. I don’t care how much I spend doing it or how much time it takes. It’s imperative that I get a 168+.

@nick_shceu: Good advice. I’ll look into that. And I wasn’t aware of the fourth section… interesting.

For UCI students interested in Law, logic courses (Philosophy/LPS 29-30-31 are good to take for General Education math requirements (GE V. Quantitative, Symbolic, and Computational Reasoning). They aren’t easy – UCI is very strong in this area and standards are high–but they’re useful.

Some Community Colleges have a symbolic logic course that will transfer.

of course this could be obvious BUT, since it does not specify for fall 2012, could you argue that since the instructions arent there then they are void?

of course if i was an attorney there, i would argue that.

or is that too petty?

bump.

would i be rejected without my math finished this summer and finish for fall 2011?

You won’t be allowed to TAG into UCI. They will review your application as a non-TAG. That’s to say, you won’t be guaranteed admission. This doesn’t mean you’ll be rejected.

sooo gay! that means i have to wait till next year to get the acceptance to my #1. blahhhh!
