IT'S AMAZING.

Absolutely more scenic than UF.

I wouldn't have known unless I got rejected from UF!

You are so right.

I couldn't agree more. FSU's campus is truly gorgeous.

People in Florida just don't know much about FSU in general. FSU is like an "out-of-state school”, but in-state.

Westcott and Landis are nice, rest of the campus is overrated. And before you call me Negative Nancy, I'm up at school five days a week for almost the entire day and have classes all over the place. I see more of the campus on a daily basis than some kids do during their entire four years.

Edit: In all fairness though, it's probably one of the top three campuses in the state for any college, in terms of scenic nature.

I would not say the campus is overrated - I've been to most all university campuses in Florida and FSU is the best. It's also the most densely populated.

How does it compare to UF's campus?

"AMAZING" isn't exactly how I'd describe it. But I will agree that the campus is nicer than UF's, and it is quite nice.

having visited many colleges all over NE and SE coast i believe FSU campus is number one. the vast campus is scenic filled with offerings. recent improvements - master plan for growth and those that limit internal auto traffic are good, sound decisions.leads me to believe the campus will continue to grow in beauty.

FSU has spent a lot of money on the campus in recent years. When I was in school, there were only two parking garages (the third opened shortly before I graduated) and most of the parking lots were gravel with painted logs for dividers. As significant as that sounds, we're only going back five or six years, here...

Today, virtually all of the on-campus lots are paved, there are five garages and several new dorms, and most of the concrete walking paths have been replaced with brick pavers. There are also several new statues. I've always liked the FSU campus - of all the schools in Florida that I visited, it looked by far the most like a "college" in my mind - but it is substantially better now than even five years ago.
