On other forums I just press the "quote" button on a post I'm replying to and the quote and
[quote]
tags are neatly written for me in the reply box. but on CC I have to copy over the post being quoted and place the quote tags manually. why don't they make it easier to quote?

lol

it's not that hard to type quote and /quote.

it's not convenient, especially when you compare it with forums that do have a quote button.

wait...how do you even quote, i try to click the "quote message in reply?" button but it doesn't do anything.

While they know plenty about college admissions, they seem to be lacking in the forum department.

No edits after 15 minutes is ridiculous, not being able to delete accounts or at least changing the names of accounts to "Guest" (or something like that), not making quoting easier, dumb censors, etc.

^College Confidential is Serious Business

I go to another forum with a similar layout and everything and they have the quote button. It's so nice to be able to just press that because it gets confusing when people decide to use quotation marks instead and they forget to close them. Another improvement that would be nice would be if we could have pictures under our username and be able to change the member status to say something else. It would also be awesome if there was a spot (like the location, gender, join date) where you could put the college you attend.

I can't even click the "Quote message in reply?" button. The square is faded out a bit, and I cant click on it.

You have to click the "reply" at the bottom of a post to be able to click it. Right now, I am quoting lil_killer129's message in reply. Lets see if it works!

EDIT: nope it didn't work.
