Why don't all CSUs with impaction publish past admission thresholds?

Why don’t all CSUs with impaction publish past admission thresholds (eligibility index for frosh (MCA score for CPSLO frosh), prior college GPA for transfers)?

A few do, like SJSU and CSUN, which makes it easier for potential applicants to determine if the campus and major is reach, match, or likely?

The Cal States do publish this table which gives average CSU GPA, test scores and some information on impaction.

It would be great for students but, the threshold must shift somewhat year to year - just based on the applicant pool. Some campuses have been shifting how they accommodate local applicants and suddenly popular majors - and they want the wiggle room to move the threshold without having to re-set expectation. For example, It is striking how much the EI threshold for CS at SJSU bounces around each year. .

I imagine they also don’t want to discourage applicants who may be on the bubble. Record number of applicants is a great headline.
