<p>What makes Duke THE college?</p>
<p>Depends on ur interests, and what you look for in a college.
For me:
Great departmental strength in my field of interest
Well rounded undergraduate experience</p>
<p>good school with greek life and athletics. Couldn’t imagine my college experience if I weren’t in a fraternity. I don’t know if this is something you want to focus your essay on, the school is getting fed up with the antics of certain greek groups, and the student body as a whole ( Karen Owen was not affiliated), but its worth noting if you’re interested in that at all</p>
<p>and kids from all around the country (UCs are too California based, but there are still a good maount of west coasters here).</p>
<p>I agree with braaap. The great balance between sports, academics, and social life was extremely appealing to me, as no other top 10 university has such a well rounded balance between those three aspects.</p>

<p>I don’t think even the most blue-blinded Dukie thinks Duke is THE college, rather, it’s THE college I was accepted at.</p>
