<p>Some schools require that I take up to multi-variable calculus
and differential equations. I've seen java requirement as well.
Is that real or there is a mistake?
I personally think if I am gonna learn diff. eq and java, engineering
is the major to go. Up to Calc 2 is great, but I don't get why
I need these crazy classes..</p>
<p>:O?</p>
<p>When I took intermediate microecon, we used partial derivatives for lagrangian problems. It was pretty simple stuff and it’s very intuitive if you know basic calculus. However, multivariable calc couldn’t hurt. I also took differential equations but I did not take anymore econ classes to make use of it.</p>
<p>well multi-variable and diff eq may hurt my GPA…
thx for the advice.</p>
