I've seen this kind of thread for many other colleges but not Emory, so I'll start this topic, why have you chosen Emory or what has made it so appealing to its applicants?

i have not applied yet, but am going to in the very near future. what makes it so appealing to me is that you can get a liberal arts education and major in something at the college while also majoring at the business school. what makes this so appealing is that you are getting a superb general education at the college in a topic of your choice and you are getting the unbelievable, highly acclaimed and ranked goizueta program if business is what you want as well. the best part is is that you are not only studying business for those skepticals that say it is not educational enough, you are also getting the college study if that is the direction you choose to go. it sure will be for me.

Well, I'm actually thinking about going into Premed, so do u guys know how their premed program is? And what else makes Emory appealig?

Dude only one post, and over 60 viewings, theres got to be something wrong with this? C'mon guys answer the question, Why Emory?

I'm looking at other schools aside from Emory about the Computer Science program, and if don't mind me asking, what has the CS program done to make it seem appealing?

A strong Pre-med program is one of Emory's greatest assets. Personally, I wanted to major in Business but still have the Liberal Arts education. My first two years at Emory have been and continue to be filled with a mix of Business pre-requsities and Liberal Arts courses (from Music and Film to Anthropology and Education).

The campus is beautiful. Have you visited? We also just finished the new School of Medicine near the DUC; its really nice. Emory Healthcare is also the largest health care provider in the state.

do you guys know why businessweek ranks goizueta so high?
