Why engineering and Why our school ???

<p>I have a couple of essays as supplements that ask to outline about why u are choosing engineering .... and a couple others that ask that why are u choosing our school .....
So how do i go abt. it ... like do i write it pretty straight forward why i am choosing this school ... (academics , location , reputation etc.) or do i have to show some creativity like how i like a specific tradition of theirs or whatever....
The same goes for the why engineering one ... straightforward or dreamy .....? </p>

<p>I have a bunch of similar prompts, and I headed in the dreamy direction. The way I look at it, if they were straitforward, adcoms would be reading the same story about playing with legos or wanting to help people for three months. That doesn't sound like any fun, so I headed in the opposite, and hopefully more interesting, direction.</p>
