<p>I know Georgetown doesn't require this, but would it be beneficial to submit a "Why I want to go to Georgetown" essay anyways?</p>
<p>If you think you would somehow get something out of writing it, then knock yourself out. Otherwise, don’t bother. No one is going to read an extra essay.</p>
<p>If you’re applying to the College, a form of the “why Georgetown” essay is required for the second prompt. If not, I think that you’d annoy the committee.</p>
