Why George Washington Essay

What are you guys writing about?
I'm curious to see whether, it's because it's the location, the professors or what not? Post it here. But Jan 10 is the date!

I did kind of an all-encompassing view, saying how much I liked the political atmosphere, the city, the international relations focus, the specific concentrations offered within my major, the internship opportunities etc. etc. etc.

ugh i have no idea what to write i feel liek its a trick question – like theyre trying to see how boring i am because i write exactly the same response as everyone else!! but yea im writing about the opportunities for research/internships, the city…uhh and thats all i got so far. im kinda screwed arent i?

anyone else got any ideas?

hmm since it is 2008 presidential eleciton…you may say because you want the political experience of making a difference of helping elect a president or what not? any good ideas?

I’m writing about how I discovered it in an ironic way, going to the hospital (children’s hospital in DC) in order to treat my rare bone condition. To make me feel better my uncle would take me on a tour of DC and GWU was part of that tour semiannually. I think it’s a unique essay for such a trick question.

I talked about the political experience thing and just answered it straight forward, that GW had the programs that I wanted, the major I wanted, the international culture that I wanted, and the atmosphere that I wanted in college…

I got denied though so what do I know :)

I can honestly say that I barely remember… Those weeks were a blur of stress and no sleep, and I think I put something about how the campus is the city? I’ll go back and read it now :)

I wrote about the Starbucks they have on campus.

I’m dead serious. It was a pretty good essay.
