Why goes Princeton not have a neuroscience/neurobiology major?

Title says it all. Typo in title

Same reason it doesn’t have a finance or biochemistry major. You can learn those by majoring in something broader.

As important as the field of neuroscience is, it’s better to start of undergrad ed with broader focus and you can always become more specific---- Princeton’s Neuroscience Institute has an fMRI.

A concentration in molecular biology or psychology with a certificate in neuroscience will get you basically all the neuro experience you would want. This includes mandatory research during junior and/or senior year. That’s all most neuroscience programs are: psych or mol bio majors with an emphasis on neuroscience.
