I'm really stressed now. Not only am I a freshman, fall quarter, dealin with classes and homework, midterms, doing things on my own, making friends, but now I'm infatuated with my RA. I think she's totally cute and a really nice person. I'm pretty sure she knows ( and I didn't tell her) but it seems like she's avoiding me now. What is a person to do?

Well, I suggest you don't worry about her right now, concencrate on your academics first.

also at most schools RAs are forbidden to have relationships with their advisees. Odds are unless she thinks you two are soulmates, she's not going to bend the rules.

Hallcest... that's all i can say

Haha . . .

The policy might be that it's frowned upon, not forbidden. If she's not into, it doesn't matter, though.

RAs can date people on their floor. Its not like a student professor realtionship or anything.

LOL....hallcest...

i think Dormcest sounds better :P

Shouldn't your RA be the same sex as you(assuming single-sex by floor)?

It's a coed building. There are two RA's. A dude on my floor and her on the first floor.

Dude. Take a hint.

If she's avoiding you, just chill and act like friends.

Oh, so it's not really your RA then, just an RA in your building.

Well their both my RA's, since my building only holds 50 residents. But she lives on the first floor.

my senior RA dates a sophomore girl.
