Why has not BAMA adopted "TUSK" as a Fight Song?

<p>I’m assuming UA has been paying royalties for years for playing it during the pre-game shows.
That’s the USC band playing on the recording, and in the video, which was one of the first shown on MTV.

<p>We agree that the USC connection makes Tusk a poor choice. Our DS is having a wonderful experience at Alabama, and we parents are very happy with his choice. But when the MDB plays Tusk, the USC connotations are hard on us, as we are both UCLA alums.</p>

<p>If UA was to choose a pop/rock song as its fight song, “Sweet Home Alabama” would be chosen long before “Tusk.”</p>
