I’ll put in. Anyone hear this month? I’m assuming at this point my son is one of the January 31st decisions. Are these usually rejections?
@SwimmingDad Possibly deferral rather than rejection at this point but you’ll never know until you find out so we can only wait!
They have three more rounds of releases typically, so there will some more acceptances coming yet.
My friend who applied Nov 1st just received his acceptance to CSE this Saturday (Jan 12th)
My son applied to CSE Nov. 1 just got acceptance today.
@seattlesons do you get an email of the update in the portal or you have to check regularly in the portal? Can you please let me know. Thanks.
I just reread my post and it came across as a bitter dad post. My apologies. And thank you all for the replies.
UMN is slow in getting back to us. My son applied to 4 schools late October, and have heard back from 3. Just have to wait another 2 weeks, I guess.
My son applied in Sept as well. U of MN admissions is a joke. He hasn’t heard. My son was accepted at IU Kelley School of Business and most likely going there. He applied to 10 schools and has heard back from everyone, including scholarships. When the U of MN finally sends the e-mail and packet, I am going to tell them to fly a kite.
Finally got the tracker change message. Today sometime between noon and 2:00 pm Nothing in communication center as of right now. One line message…"
All of your required application materials have been received and an admission decision will be posted to this site" Crossing fingers for kiddo.

@hahaha99 No, that I wouldn’t know. Last year mid day releases were “yesterday” so this year today, but they still had another over the weekend last year. There were two in a week. Keep waiting until 9:35. If it doesn’t change by then, it might not be tonight, but still there is time left before the 31st.

Just check your communication center at 9:30 tonight. Last year the com center updated then for those that had this particular tracker message change earlier in the day.
Admit alternate, Waitlist other.
