<p>I applied fully back in September and have waited all of this time with no decision yet. I have a 3.4 GPA and a 27 ACT and people at my school with much worse stats have been accepted already, so I'm starting to get really nervous and confused. What do you guys think is going on?</p>

<p>Status hasn’t changed since September, saying that they have recieved all parts of my application. I also applied to CLA as my first choice.</p>

<p>I’m from California and I actually got my acceptance packet before my status on the portal changed… But it said “Carefully considered” for exactly a week and when I got home on Friday I got my packet… Hope that helps you guys</p>

<p>My status changed to “carefully considered” on 2/19 and I called them yesterday (2/20). I got a call back today from a transfer specialist who informed me I was accepted. From what I have read, it sounds like others have had similar luck calling and finding out their decision. I wish you both the best of luck!</p>

<p>I’m in the same boat as jawzzy. Transfer, called after receiving the “very carefully considered” update, received my decision over the phone when they called me back.</p>
<p>I think it just means they made a decision, JackMaurice, and doesn’t necessarily indicate an acceptance. It doesn’t hurt to give them a call and should help give you some peace of mind one way or the other. Good luck!</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure it means a decision has been made. They probably try and time your application tracker update with your decision letter in the mail, hence why they do not update it right away (just a suspicion I have no idea to be honest).</p>
<p>This is kind of a side track from your topic, but I have two curiosities.
Will they tell you if you have been denied over the phone?
Does EVERYONE get the “carefully considered” status?</p>
