I think they should have released my decision by now as i feel i am a good ( if not strong) candidate.
I have called them so many times but they say that they haven't made a decision yet.

Please help me guys!. Why are they doing this? This waiting is killing me!!!

i assume its the week b4 12/24 (the deadline for decisions to come out)..but i hope they give us earlier, this waiting is killing me. i applied on 10/27, nothing..nothing..

ss_2310, I'm sure that you'll get in. You have awesome SATs, great grades, etc. I am Indian too and heard back last Thursday. They apparently release a number of decisions every couple of weeks....so I'd imagine they'll release the rest of the Early Response decisions late in the week before Xmas.

they haven't released mine either and everything was in by 10/16....it's ridiculous! my birthday is on tuesday 12/23...hope they don't reject me then! hahaha

The thing that says 7th Semester Grade just appeared on my Wolverine Access which I am assuming means I am deferred.

It doesn't really matter to me since I was accepted ED to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. I just find it odd...

UM Unweighted GPA: 4
ACT: 35
SAT II: Chem - 800, Lit - 800, Hebrew - 800, US History - 800
AP's: I have taken 10 AP's (not including this year) and received 5's on all of my exams. 2 Freshmen year, 4 Sophomore, 4 Junior. I am currently enrolled in 4 AP courses and 2 honors courses.

My extracurricular are of a wide variety. I have activities ranging from opening my own independent catering service to starting a recycling program at my school to being the captain of my school's varsity soccer team.

That you got deferred is totally flabbergasting to me. Maybe they thought you were TOO strong of a candidate, and they assumed you would not go if you got in? That's the only explanation I can see.
