My DS is writing scholarship essays over the break. For essays about his most important activity, what book has inspired him the most and that sort of prompt he is fine. But for the "Why I deserve this scholarship essay" it is hard to come up with an original angle. It seems that everyone is going to say the same thing. Give it to me because I have a great GPA and test scores, I set goals and achieve them, I won this or that award, I am going to be successful, blah, blah, blah. Does anyone have any suggestions on a different or more creative approach to this prompt?
