Judging by what i've heard about the school, it seems to me like Case might be a little underrated on the USNWR, it's around 40 right now. Just wanted to see if anyone goes to Case and how they like it, and also if there are any cons to case that would explain its low rank.

I go to Case and I happen to love it here. I think the best explanation for its “low” ranking is probably its high acceptance rate. Case is an extremely self-selective school- I don’t know what the acceptance rate was for the incoming freshman class, but i do know their middle 50% SAT scores were something like 1850-2180.

Also, I don’t really know how/whether this factors into rankings, but in past years students were unhappy at Case. In the past couple years though it seems student life here has really improved, and most people I know are enjoying their experience.

If you have any specific questions regarding social/academic life at Case, I’d be more than happy to answer..

Hi CaseSpartan10,

thanks for replying to my thread. As a senior, i’ve been doing a lot of college research and have been looking to add more “match” schools to my list and I think Case fits (maybe a high match). I was just wondering if you could let me know what you like about Case, such as the campus, dorms, profs, and overall quality of life. I know you must be busy, so feel free to write as little or as much as possible (or nothing at all).

I’d say a lot of it is because it’s in the Midwest. Those schools tend to have a harder time in the rankings.
