<p>In the US news rankings, it's not ranked at all in the top 100 private schools in America. Now I know for a fact, Chapman University is somewhere in that range.</p>

Maybe Chapman does not confer enough doctoral degrees to belong in the National Universities category, nor is it a LAC.</p>

<p>i have one more question if possible, I know chapman’s business department was ranked 46 last year, but this year it wasn’t in the top 50. did it go down? because when I tried to find chapman in this years rankings it read N/R</p>
<p>Is chapman even a good school? To me it seems like you pay a ton of money for a state education that you could get at long beach or irvine.</p>
<p>lol state education? irvine is a good school, it’s not an elite but still a damn good school. Chapman is well known around the SoCal area and growing in reputation. It’s strongest departments are film, business and nursing (I believe)?</p>
<p>if ur pumping 4.5 GPA’s and 2300 Sat scores, you’re better off going somewhere better, but chapman is still a good school. not elite, but good.</p>
