ya now that site rocks.

The act of trying to prove Dartmouth is #1 has made me seriously rofl.

yah i agree....the ivies are all good, if someone says that harvard is better than princeton or anything liek that, thats just not fair. coz they all are ruddy brilliant. what we can say is that which of the ivies is best for us.......

But the search to find the BEST ivy is extremely futile.

Dartmouth isn't even on the map outside of the New England area. It's international reputation is very low, even among people in the know. It's a great school, one of my favorite ivies, but I am not so naive as to think of it as the best Ivy.

Harvard is probably the best Ivy if you want to consider academics, prestige, and town surroundings. In my opinion, I think Princeton is the best because it fulfills all three above and has an excellent reputation for undergraduate education.

People, people! Why do you all bother responding to high school trolls who can't even spell correctly?

^ It's silly to link believing Dartmouth to be the "best" Ivy League with naivety. At this level of education, it simply holds no tangible importance.

Lol TexasSoccer84, one might also argue that Pton isn't the best because of its insignificant reputation for post-graduate education.

Plus, everyone knows that Columbia is #1 ♥

(Only kidding guys. Not a prestigewhore. The thread was cute and silly tho ;) And just to come off as petty and pretentious, IvyIsGreen - are you also implying that Dartmouth students are noneducated? (teehee, the word is "unpretentious."))

I think Princeton lacks professional programs, but I believe it's grad school is filled with highly ranked PhD programs in the arts and science.

For the most part I was thinking of best undergraduate education.

Columbia #1? While it does baffle me that Columbia doesn't edge out Princeton as one of the big three, it's reputation is that of an Ivy-Chicago/JHU, or in the same spot as Penn.

It's the best Ivy since its green and green is the color of grass and money.
