<p>I don't think they correspond exactly. Here Spanish II (the class I'm in), just finished covering the last tense. Including future, conditional, pluperfect, etc.</p>

I don't remember Spanish II (although it was last year, I know) so I can't tell you if they correspond. But technically yours is AP no matter which course you take b/c you're in college. OK. Let me venture a smiley. Which one is perfect for this occasion? :D</p>

I guess a campus that's 30% White, 25% Korean, 22% Black, 8% Guatemalan, 6% Puerto Rican, 5% Brazilian, and 4% Uzbek isn't diverse because those numbers don't reflect the population as a whole, then? Too bad. There's a lot of different cultures, languages, and ethnicities within this student body. If it's not diverse, then I don't know what is.</p>

<p>Ethnic diversity is one of many different types of diversity. It is also good. It is also even better when it's not forced through racial preferences.</p>
<p>This whole "reflect the population" thing is comically counterproductive to diversity. Does it make sense to define diversity so narrowly? Talk about destroying the meaning of the word!</p>

<p>I think diversity is great, when it happens naturally (as in CA public universities).</p>
<p>It allows the most qualified people to get into the school and places no inhibitors based on race (which is idiotic and is only a proxy for cultural diversity). </p>
<p>Diversity being good is based on the assumption that cultural diversity is also good. This is a stretch - considering that some other cultures value subjugation of women and unequal rights. This is, of course, being compared to Western culture which is the predominant culture in the US.</p>
<p>Hi collegeguy, the essay was pretty bad actually. But luckily my teacher didn't collect it or go over it. And luckily no one else in the class had even done it so even if my teacher had collected/gone over it, I would still look good. :D
