...considering i just committed to yale over brown, yay!!!!

I dunno… but Brown is relatively close to Princeton, right? So I can just hop over and visit her anytime…

Possible reasons:

1) She may not have gotten into Yale (rumored).

2) She already made enough money to last her a lifetime, so she’s looking for more fun in her college experience than necessarily better academic achievement/preparation for real world.

Those are all I can come up with.

And as a member of the Class of 2013 at Brown, I am a-ok with her decision (!).

Considering you can take every single class Pass/Fail at Brown, and you can graduate without having majored in anything, yeah, that sounds fun.

She wants to take formal acting classes in college.

Lol @ formal acting classes. That’s like Stephen Hawking taking courses at MIT.

Congrats for getting into Yale, hannah! I don’t know why Emma Watson’s going to Brown. It’s her loss, I suppose… unless she was rejected of course.

yale is way WAY too much like harry potter for her to go there. It was just a bit too strange for her I bet.

I think you may be on to something Supereagle 10.

And how would she dress at Harry Potter-themed parties??

She said in her blog that she was admitted. Likely letter I believe.

Did she only apply to Brown and Yale? I though she also applied to Harvard?

Racoon1990, find me on HER actual blog (if she has one, that is - and not the fake Twitter account that wasn’t really hers) that says she got admitted to Yale with a likely letter… I will eat my hat if you can do this.

She didn’t apply to Yale…

What makes you say she didn’t apply to Yale? A friend of mine knows the person who showed her around, so she certainly visited and apparently liked it.

I know people.

And yes I realize that she visited too (maybe the kid your friend knows was one of the Yale guides reprimanded for asking her for her autograph - very unprofessional I must say)… but that doesn’t mean she applied.

Who cares. -__-

Jerk much, The Government? Seriously, it’s great for you (and your application) that your mom is in admissions, but there’s no need to act like an ahole to people because of it.

^ I really didn’t mean to come off as an ahole; sorry about that… saying that was just my way of attempting to demonstrate that I wasn’t arbitrarily making up things about Emma never applying to Yale… like I knew how she visited already and how tour guides asked her for her autograph. People often don’t believe my advice or the things I say about Yale…

But really… they were told not to ask her for her autograph and they did anyways.
Unprofessional? I think so.
Especially considering how good the Yale guides are in general…

If I were a Yale tour guide, it would be very very tempting for me to ask Emma Watson for her autograph.

The tour guides asked for her autograph? That is sooooo not classy, and not Yale.

Yeah I mean, she was at Yale. She should have been asking for the tour guides’ autographs. Gosh.
