I'm just curious. I know a lot of people will probably say something about yahoo answers, but I'm about one question away from a Top Contributor in Standards and Testing and Homework Help, and that says something. I'm a moron, and so are all other Y!A users. Except Lauren.

I got lost in your post. What was the point of your digression on your position on Yahoo Answers?

Sorry, I typed it at three in the morning. It probably doesn’t make sense.

Well anyway, everyone on Yahoo Answers is a moron, and there’s no where else to go for homework help online.

For math/science, the Physics Forum is a great site.

On Y!A? I don’t take AP Math or Science classes. I only take English and History. I’m stupid when it comes to Math and Science.

I found Cramster to be great for physics.

Don’t you guys have friends who can help you?

What about the teacher?

Next year my only AP class is online, and I’m the only one taking it.

I was going to take Gov and Lit too, but I had schedule issues, and I’m taking them at the Community College.

^
Is that a response to my question…?

Anything history related could easily be google’d…

I’m not sure how people can help you for English with the exception of essay correction and I don’t many people would be willing to do that.

Hahahaha holla! : )

I know what you mean. I asked two questions about an essay prompt because I just couldn’t for the life of me figure out what it was asking. No responses. Ugh… I mean, I know there are a few people I could ask privately from Y!A (Lark and Billet…) but no one else!

Academic dishonesty. :O

I swear to frickin baby jesus, I would have failed physics if yahoo answers and cramster didn’t exist.

Because if you’re a CCer, you’re smart enough to do your own homework. Also, CCers don’t want to help the very people they’re competing with for college admissions.

But you’re right, you’re better off secretly getting homework help from CCers than Yahoo Answers people. On average, CCers are significantly smarter than Yahoo Answers people, so much smarter that on Yahoo Answers you probably won’t even get someone who knows how to solve the problem.

Here is the reason:

“This is to prevent College Confidential’s being used as a cheat site. Those needing legitimate homework help can find other Internet sites designed for that purpose.”

^

Just wondering… why couldn’t CC extend its services into the “homework-help” realm. CC could abide by the same rules in which posters have to show some considerable effort in their quest to grasp the material, and, as a result, CC would get more traffic.

CC wouldn’t have the resources to monitor the homework threads to the extent needed. I don’t think they’re worried about the amount of traffic they get!

Have any of you guys seen [Slader :: Homework Help and Answers :: Slader](http://www.■■■■■■■■■■?) the sites called slader and it seems to be different than just cheating - more like collaboration - you can ask questions and get answers. they’re pretty new, it looks like, but i use it for calc and it’s a major help
