Does one poor test score report to selective colleges matter if the next one or two is much better? If they take the highest scores, why have some people advised against sending your scores if you are not sure how well you will or did do? I found out 3 days before the March SAT that I had to take it and had not time to prepare (we decided to send the scores anyway-is that bad)?. Instead of getting 99% like the PSAT and ACT, I got like a 95 or 96%? Will that hurt me if the next scores I make are higher…they won’t hold that against me will they? Thanks in advance!

No, unless you take the SAT/ACT etc 4 or 5 times, they take the best score and really ignore the old ones...The only real reason that I can think of that the CollegeBoard sends in ALL scores is because if you cheat or something and have a score "CANCELLED" it raises a red flag to the college and they could investigate it...(DONT CHEAT...COLLEGES HATE IT)
