Why is it such a great school?

<p>I was teasing about the Michigan omission. I thought you were averaging the rankings of top 10 departments, not of all ranked departments. But I now understand your ranking. It works for me.</p>

<p>To the OP, GT has an amazing Engineering program. Cal, Caltech, MIT and Stanford are the top 4 programs in my opinions. Canergie Mellon, Cornell, GT, Illinois and Michigan are the next 5. </p>

<p>All 9 of those Engineering programs are excellent.</p>

<p>Most likely it's because they aren't good enough to be ranked in the top 25, although the program may still be pretty good. Most of the schools in your rank have all of the engineering departments.</p>
