<p>It’d still be nice to hear of some opinions tho…are professors more focused on research, do they pay attention to undergrads, how are the research oppurtunities/facilities?</p>

<p>According to USNWR 2010 edition of Best Colleges, JHU is ranked 14th for Best Engineering Schools (Of schools offering a doctorate). This is based on “Peer Assessment”. I now see a more comprehensive post on this from noimagination…</p>
<p>The major strength is the size and research opportunities. Only 400 students per class in engineering in 13 departments - most of which offer the 5-year combined Master’s degree. </p>
<p>Highly respected in engineering circles - and students who want to go into finance, consulting circles.</p>
