Sophomore Year: Ridiculously easy, and very fun

Junior year: (the year im in) Ridiculously hard, and extremely boring

This year is completely dead compared to the other years. All the teachers suck and are jerks, the homework load is definitely increased, despite what many people say. It is the worst year of high school so far. All my years, it took me a couple weeks to adapt to teachers. For junior year, I have been in class 2 months and I still hate them and feel like I dont know them. Is junior year where high school hits rock bottom, I heard it gets worse senior year, and then when you are in college, ALL THE FUN COMES BACK. Its like this year everybody is ed at you or something. I mean * man, why cant all of high school be like freshmen and sophmore year?

It does get worse senior year. Academically, that is (supposing you’re like me and keep up with the rigorous course load). And maybe that’ll improve next semester. Socially, however, it’s turning out to be easily the best year ever♥.

Junior year is kinda tough because of the SAT/ACT pressure, HW load increases, Colleges look at mostly junior year grades (unless you get deferred and they need 7th sem grades).

Senior year is also hard if you keep out the work load as Aspire2011 said, but senior year is so much fun already and it has been only a month or so! The fun balances out the toughness! Just get through junior year, then you’re good. Good Luck!

If you’re not a slacker type (low grades, bad classes, no real college chance/future), then your senior year will be fun. For the rest, with high college aspirations, senior year is going to be the absolute toughest. So, in a way, enjoy junior year O.o

I’m enjoying my senior year I felt that it’s been my easiest year so far and junior year was definitely the hardest but of course difficulty varies from school to school and which classes you decided to take. College apps are definitely a pain though but once they’re done you’re set.

Junior year was tough because it was the first time that my peers were focused on college-so it was the focus of our interactions. It went from “let’s grab coffee tomorrow and take a break” to “let’s grab coffee and go over practice SAT questions.” I didn’t really mind, it just made my social life seem a lot more stressful.

Also, teachers started giving more nightly work, so I didn’t get a lot of sleep.

My sister said senior year is much easier than junior year. She took the most rigorous courseload possible in order to get valedictorian.

Her schedule:
11th:
AP Chemistry
Honors PreCalculus
AP US History
AP Biology
Honors English 11
Honors Spanish 4
12th:
“Honors” We The People/AP US Government
Honors Microbiology/AP Economics
AP English Lit/AP English Composition
AP Spanish 5/Speech(only took Spanish for 1 semester)
AP Calculus
Honors Sociology/Health

As you can tell, she had a SUPER easy 2nd semester senior year because if you don’t take summer school and put off required classes until 8th semester, you get higher class rank(because class rank is determined by first 7 semesters)

My junior year isn’t too boring. It’s just ridiculously busy. The first quarter just ended and I feel like I’ve been here for a semester already. I need holiday breaks right about now.

And at my school, senior year’s supposed to be easier. The actual AP classes that juniors normally take (Chem, English Lang) are way harder than the AP classes geared towards seniors (English Lit, Bio, Psych). Just three more quarters…three more quarters.
