<p>When this happens, I just take their names off the assignment. They can take 0s.</p>

<p>In the case of a presentation, I tell them, loud enough for everyone to hear, that they can stay seated and I do it myself. When the teacher asks why, just say “Oh, they didn’t do anything.”</p>

<p>This doesn’t happen anymore now that I have almost all AP classes and people know if they don’t do their work with me they will get a 0. I’m not a charity foundation, do your damn work.</p>

<p>I admit, in group projects in Honors classes, I partner up with a friend who his really smart and usually does the lion’s share of the work.</p>

<p>We had to do a stupid cell poster for Honors Biology and I was partners with her. She did most of the project.</p>
