Why is my D account still empty?

Why??

I sent the Supplement in September! I've had my id and password since then, back then it said something like we are reviewing the ED applicants we will start reviewing RD in January...ok..it stayed like that for a while and in February changed, now it says:

We have received all materials necessary to begin the review of your Regular Decision application. Should we have any questions or require further materials from you, we will contact you directly via email or telephone. If you have not already done so, please check your email address to be sure we have your current email on record.

Candidates will be notified of their admissions decisions at the beginning of April.

We appreciate your interest in Dartmouth and are pleased to be evaluating your application.

Sincerely,

The Dartmouth Admissions Staff

I had the interview this last saturday, but whats going on?

I can't see if they have all of my materials or if theres something missing or anything..

WHY?! Does it mean something negative? :(

I think everyone got that same message. It doesn’t mean anything negative.

Also, Dartmouth has received everything.

Lol! thanks I thought it was suppoused to say something like H.s transcript: missing or not missing, Teacher Evaluations: blah blah you know? lol someone here said that was missing something, his account said he was missing blah…so I thought it was suppoused to be like that. Thank You I was freaking out! lol

Did you even read the letter before you posted here?

“We have received all materials necessary to begin the review of your Regular Decision application.”

… this paranoia thing is ridiculous

Lack of reading comprehension and…umm…literacy. Not a good sign for your candidacy, quite frankly. Dartmouth tends to take only those applicants who know how to read. I think the admissions committee is bigoted against illiterate people or…something.

Sometimes you get so nervous - or stressed out - about college apps that your brain just doesn’t process information as it should. Don’t be all holier than thou and insulting (i.e. Xanatos).

Paukid, don’t worry. Results will be out in due time and we’ll all survive, regardless of whether or we are made an offer.

Oh? You think it’s gonna be easier to process information when you’re staring down the barrel of a college midterm? Or a paper that’s due the next day? I won’t even mention grad school or the kind of high level, high stress job he’s probably going to end up in. If he can’t think because of the kind of stress he’s in now, he’s going to need to seriously work to get that under control, before he gets to those higher levels and the stress bumps up a few more notches from where it is now.

I know it’s not going to be any easier, but I’m sure paukid will rise to the occasion when he/she has to.

Anyway, I have no clue what I’m doing fighting someone else’s battles.

Where are you studying, Xanatos, or if you’re out of college, where did you study?

I’m a Dartmouth alum.

Xanatos, then with all due respect, why are you ■■■■■■■■ a highschool question thread?

You’ve helped out in the past; I remember thanking you for help when I applied and was accepted ED just this year. But really? Is making fun of a kid for being so freaked out that he wanted to make sure of something necessary? Regardless of your feelings on his cognitive ability, there’s a limit to what one should say.

That said, you still have the single greatest reference I’ve ever seen in a username, to date. And for that, congratulations, my friend ;)

FYI, I don’t blame the OP (for those of you who insulted him/her). I got that “Dartmouth has received everything” email when I had yet to send any type of test scores…so I dont blame the OP for worrying about whether everything was received or not. I’m questioning this as well
