I believe @Falcon1 is right, unless Yale’s changed its policy since December (when they announced they’d be admitting 1,200 - 1,300 RD - see above). The new colleges don’t open until next fall, so there won’t be beds for extra students until then.
My bad. It’s been in the works so long, I forgot how recently they actually started construction. But, as I said in a number of previous threads, I think there’s a good chance of a Z-list plan this year to smooth out the admission jump.
