WHY is the acceptance rate so high, 75% regular decison

am i mistaken???

What year are those stats from? I don't doubt they are/were true but last year was very different from the year before (1150 enrolled vs about 780 the year before). Last year was the biggest FR class in history, the most applicants, and the highest SAT scores.

This is just my own speculation, but when 75% were accepted, Case didn't get a lot of applications and those who applied were largely qualified. Case has the reputation that its not hardest place to get into, but it is hard work if you enroll. Case (like peers URochester & WashU) has been implementing plans to increase applications, applicant quality, and yield with things like new dorms, top quality dining hall food, flexible & innovative curriculum, more user-friendly campus, more emphasis on humantites, etc and it is starting to show results.
