UScranton is a good school… better than some schools who have their own boards on CollegeConfidential… Why?
University of the Office?
That is correct… And it’s part of the reason I even applied to the school, but it’s actually a pretty good school! They offered me $12,000 a year and I am considering going there…
Sadly… There is no more office until the NBC writers end their strike…
Because it’s a master’s-level university with a regional student body.
What do you mean “master’s-level university”? Would that make it a bad choice to go there for your bachelors?
And regional? Only half its students come from Pennsylvania.
The general criterion for a new forum is demonstrated interest in the form of plenty of discussion in the regular forums. If there has been a critical mass of discussion we’d be happy to start a forum and move the relevant threads into it.
Well then… I’m interested in knowing why Moravian College has its own board… I chose it at random.

If there get to be a lot of involved alumni, parents of prospective students, prospective students, and current students discussing a particular college over the long term, it’s easy to make the case for a college-specific forum. Till then, you start threads about the college in the appropriate forum (most likely College Admissions Forum) and maintain the discussion threads with thoughtful posts. Once there are “facts on the ground,” then you can link to those various threads and say to management, “See? We have a lot of posts about this college here, and it would be helpful to other members to group them in one forum.”
Best wishes for your future endeavors.
Ahhh, I would LOVE a Scranton board.
Let’s get one going!!!
