They're tight nit, with lots of classic college green all around. There's a large parking lot as well, which is good for people with vehicles. There's a bus that stops right in front of it too! It's also less than a 5 min walk to the dining hall/campus center.

It's almost like it's own little park with benches, walking paths, bike racks, picnic tables, and trees and shrubs abound. There's a massive green field right in the middle of the 4 halls too, perfect for: "Hey man let's go out and play (insert sport here)."

The bathrooms are fairly new and the hallways and rooms look clean. The outside condition of the buildings, aside from a few age stains on the bricks, are fine. The rooms are pretty darn big as well, 18x12, with carpets and curtains.

The biggest downside is no AC which can be taken care of with a good dual window fan, or two box fans (one facing in from the hallway and the other out the window, or vice versa)

(messy room example, but you can still see the size) https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/68879_10150093793021959_2988990_n.jpg

And yes I am aware that these were the dorms where Tyler Clementi lived. But a tragic and devastating incident like that could happen anywhere.

Anyway, I personally don't see anything wrong with these dorms. I talked to 4 orientation leaders and staff at orientation who had Davidson their freshman year. When I told them I was in it, their faces literally lit up and they all said it was great and that they had some great times :) I'm in Davidson B btw, one of the Co-ed ones =D
