Why is this class so short?

<p>I'll be a freshman in the fall and I signed up for a math class at preview. On my schedule it says it only meets during 6th period on Thursdays.I don't understand how it can only meet for 50 minutes a week. Can someone explain this to me? Are the lectures online or something? Thanks!</p>

<p>What course is it? It may be a hybrid class that has online coursework combined with in-class lecture.</p>

<p>Here is a syllabus from spring 2012 that might help you get an idea of what to expect. It may be different from this for you though, professors have a lot of latitude when it comes to their specific policies. </p>

<p>Thank you! Do you know if all of the MAC 1105 classes are hybrid? I would prefer to have a class that meets in person since I’m already taking an online class</p>

<p>I have no idea. I would look at the sections offered in ISIS and try to find one that meets more than once a week.</p>
