I was looking through the monthly rates and utilities for VDC and VDCN. VDCN has higher monthly rates for comparable rooms in VDC. Also, VDC utilities included are electricity, gas, water, trash, cable tv and internet. VCDN only has cable tv and internet included. Does this mean that I would need to pay extra or separately for the other utilites?

Why the differences in rates and utilities included?

Yeah I lived in VDC last year and utilities are included in the cost for both VDC and Norte. I’m not really sure why Norte is more expensive other than maybe the fact that its a newer community than VDC. However, VDC is the more popular of the two by far and usually more in demand because their singles are bigger than Norte’s. If you want a single, Norte’s are pretty small compared to VDC, plus you get a full size bed in VDC as opposed to a twin in Norte. Also, technically if you compare the two most popular floor plans, the VDC 4 bed/2 bath and Norte’s 3 bed/2bath, Norte is cheaper for what you get, if you are in the double for only 547…yet VDC’s 4/2 is pretty goood too. Those are also the two cheapest/popular deals in each community.
