When looking at the acceptance rate of a women’s college it is not fair to directly compare it to a co-ed school since half of the population is not eligible to apply. When you halve wellsely’s 35% it becomes %17.5 which is on par with the other schools you are comparing to. Not to mention the applicants to a women’s college tend to be more self-selecting since many will not consider applying due to the lack of me

This calculation is bogus. You can’t take an additional half off; it’s a percentage of the people who applied. The half is already taken off - the men didn’t apply.</p>
