Why is Wharton so popular when average starting salary is around $61,000 while than USC Marshall school of business has an average starting salary of the most recent graduating class was around $75,134. By popular, i mean in terms of rankings and such.

The website you are showing is for the USC Graduate School of Business, their MBA program, not their undergrad business school.

You are comparing the average salary of a Bachelors degree from Wharton to the salary of an MBA from USC.

^lol pretty big fail

in comparison, wharton mba entry salary is about 145k - almost twice as much as usc

Haha well alright, thanks for clearing that up. Does anyone know USC undergrad starting salary for their school of business, Marshall?

ok well lets not talk about graduate school. undergraduate wise, upenn has a median starting salaray of $61,001 and USC has $53,000. I mean the difference isn’t as substantial as the graduate schools, so is undergraduate really not that important?

Would you rather have $8000 or $0?

$61,001 does not factor in ibanking bonuses, which would be higher at wharton since there are more NYC bankers from there

aint no more nyc bankers son

On the contrary, Goldman was on campus 3 days ago recruiting…

he was being sarcastic
