<p>yes there is "student council"..but they never go against the grain about anything. Essentially at college we are all customers. Why isent there something to protect student rights, and deal with issues?... USC is charging 50cents for to-go boxes which was never stated in the original clause of my meal plan...stuff like that</p>

<p>that’s what your ASB or student council’s job is. if your school’s student gov’t doesn’t do it’s job, well…then I’m sorry. Sucks to be you. You can either work toward change, change schools, or just live with it… it’s up to you, really (and a few thousand other people…).</p>

<p>On the 50c to go boxes, that’s going to soon be seen across the country. It’s a gigantic waste to throw away all of those boxes- especially the styrofoam ones. Many unions are going green and that’s part of it. Get tupperwear instead or go to the union suggesting a reusable box.</p>
