Nowhere do I see the page where I'm supposed to be filling out MY tax information. It asks for my parents, but not mine. Why is that? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm doing it out of firefox if that has anything to do with it.

If your parents have low income, it asks you if you want to skip info about your parents and your assests. If you say yes, you don’t have to fill out info about your savings/income, or your parents savings.

I think this might be it. I could have skipped this too, but I said no, and filled it out. Either way, it won’t effect your federal aid, but colleges might want to know about it so I just filled it in.

Thanks for your response.

I completed my FAFSA yesterday with skipping out on additional info. I signed it (Hell, if there’s anything the colleges still need to know, they’ll be asking). I got on their live chat, and they said to just submit it after I told them I put in all the information the entire FAFSA asked for. I was kind of shocked that they didn’t care to know my finances… not like I earned much from a summer job. I don’t know why the live support didn’t tell me that’s why it wasn’t asking me :)

Thanks for the peace of mind that everything was working the way it was supposed to be.
