Why Isn't Tufts Listed Amongst the Top Universities?

Just Curious..

I think we all are.

Indeed! (...)

There was a thread about this awhile back...

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/tufts-university/244736-why-tufts-not-ccs-list-top-universities.html?highlight=tufts+in+CC+top+universities%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/tufts-university/244736-why-tufts-not-ccs-list-top-universities.html?highlight=tufts+in+CC+top+universities</a></p>

I think that the list of "Top CC Universities" is based on volume of traffic on the board. Harvard and Yale are not on the list, at least they were not last time I looked.

Suggestion to Dan: ask some hack from the university IT department to track down the identity of any poster who starts a petition to add Tufts to the "Top" list and add them to an "automatic reject" list :-)

Harvard and Yale are in the "Ivy League" section, which is separate from the "Top Universities".

Somebody somewhere posted that the "Top Universities" section is likely based off the top-25 from the US News rankings, which had Tufts at #28.
