USC's ranking-- #23

USC is ranked higher than four universities on this list

explain

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/community-forum-issues/633481-why-isnt-usc-cc-top-university.html

Well, USC was known as University of Spoiled Children until recently…

The short answer is that they have not earned it…yet.

USC was out of the top 25 in 2009 and 2010. However, with recent good news for USC (like a record $200M donation) and bad news for the UC and UM systems (California and Michigan are financially broke, which will disproportionately affect UM, UCLA and Cal), I expect USC to become a long term member of the top 25 universities.

Spoiled Children doesn’t really mean anything compared to U Can’t Learn Anything. (Or lots of other’s on CC’s list.)

I think USC deserves it, and has for a while. SCA and Viterbi are excellent, but so are lots and lots of colleges.

Exactly what ZBBMcFate said.

it’s definitely not for their lack of an active board! this is the best USC resource out there!
